The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Johnson.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Solomon to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
