The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: JC Latham, the 38th pick, roughly 23 picks past where he belonged.
That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

In the Round 1 slot they get a home-run threat at receiver at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
