They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Michael Penix Jr. is the Giants' quarterback, full stop. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
Wiggins at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
By-the-book stuff, Michael Penix Jr. at the Round 1 slot squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Xavier Worthy at the 37th overall pick is the proof. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Jordan Morgan in No. 39 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
