You could see the war room lean forward. JD Bertrand at the 240th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

Jalen McMillan at the 97th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

You do not let an offensive lineman like Sataoa Laumea reach the 153rd pick and blink. They did not. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They barely believed it either: Javon Foster still on the board at No. 154. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Luke McCaffrey at No. 160 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
