This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Dae'Quan Wright, the No. 189 name on the board, stolen at Round 7, Pick 13.
Reaching for Durant left real value on the table behind him. The Hill Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback, edge rusher and other spots.
For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.

In pick 15 they get a green-dot type in the middle, and a steal at that. More want than need.
The board fumbled Olaivavega Ioane all the way to slot 46, and they scooped it up. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went linebacker with Anthony Hill Jr. while clear needs at cornerback, edge rusher and other spots sat open.
A tidy bit of business in the 116th overall pick, where De'Zhaun Stribling graded well above the range. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They reached a country mile for Zane Durant at the Round 5 slot, and the board is aghast. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Bryce Boettcher in Round 6, Pick 14 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Circle this one: Dae'Quan Wright at the 229th pick is a fall that decides a draft. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
