Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Packers shredded theirs for Taulia Tagovailoa. He came off 33 spots early, and the room will hear about it. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
The dealing was even money, start to finish.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
Kool-Aid McKinstry at pick No. 25 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Edgerrin Cooper in the Round 2 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
The board had cheaper options than Xavier Worthy at the 48th pick, and it noticed. A need, and now a little less of one.
DJ James at Round 3, Pick 25 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
No edge and no loss on Dominick Puni in slot 91; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Javon Foster at pick 127 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jordan Jefferson this early at No. 168. It fills a real need, too.
Frank Gore Jr. in slot 216 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached into another round for Taulia Tagovailoa, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
