The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.

The cost of the Hartman reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Paul pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, with Drake Maye leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
