The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Skyler Bell slide 26 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The cost of the Mesidor reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.

In slot 12 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In pick 20 they get a premier pass rusher, even if it was a touch early. More want than need.
