More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B to prove it.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 26 spots for Gabe Hall, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The Colson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a matchup problem out wide. The biggest hole, addressed.
Kiran Amegadjie at the 56th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They let Junior Colson come to them and pounced at the 87th pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A straight-up fair deal on MarShawn Lloyd at the Round 4 slot, value and slot in agreement. The roster fit checks out.
Value said wait; Gabe Hall in slot 174 says they were not listening. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Daequan Hardy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A big swing on DeMonte Capehart at the 245th overall pick, well ahead of any board in the building. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
