The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Keon Coleman, the 95th pick, roughly 59 picks past where he belonged.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Nice patience on Brian Thomas Jr., who had no business lasting to No. 32. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Xavier Worthy at slot 64 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They robbed the room for Keon Coleman here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Somehow Malik Washington was still sitting there in pick No. 133, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
You do not let a wide receiver like Johnny Wilson reach Round 5, Pick 22 and blink. They did not. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Nothing to complain about; Luke McCaffrey went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
