You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cowboys did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.
Reaching for Thieneman left real value on the table behind him. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
So much rides on Dillon Thieneman that the real verdict is a season or two away.
