The war room fell hard for Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, and it showed at Round 1, Pick 18: 22 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hill Jr.. They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

In No. 18 they get an enforcer at safety, though the board says they badly overpaid. Exactly the need they had to hit.
