Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs let Walker fall and pounced. Final grade: B.
You build a draft on nights like this. Jalon Walker had no business being available in pick No. 63, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front. Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
