Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Andru Phillips got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at the 216th overall pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Reaching for Wright left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
