A solid, sensible weekend for the Cowboys: B.

Hard to follow the map here. The Cowboys bypassed offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots to take Darius Robinson at pick No. 124, a spot they had covered.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Washington pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 27th pick they get a bendy edge with upside. More want than need.
The board had Xavier Worthy higher than pick 56, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Nice patience on Payton Wilson, who had no business lasting to slot 87. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A straight-up fair deal on Tykee Smith at Round 3, Pick 34, value and slot in agreement. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
The needs board was loud and they turned it down, spending the Round 4 slot on Darius Robinson with offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots unsolved.
Cam Hart at No. 137 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
No drama and no debate, Jaylen Wright went about where he belonged in pick No. 156. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They let Malik Washington come to them and pounced at the 174th pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
