It is the swing that defines the weekend: Khristian Boyd in No. 158, a good 21 spots before the room expected him. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The Wright pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Jaylen Wright at the Round 3 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Ben Sinnott at the 133rd overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Khristian Boyd. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Dwight McGlothern. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
