There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Chiefs never got to the one that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Getting Schrader where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
Pick-by-Pick
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Nate Wiggins at slot 35 is the proof. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They paid sticker price for Ja'Lynn Polk in No. 64, and that is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A tidy little value on Patrick Paul in pick No. 90, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
