It is the swing that defines the weekend: Darius Robinson in the 91st overall pick, a good 30 spots before the room expected him. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

It is not that Brade is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That Brade pick is the receipt they will wave around later. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
