The rest of the league will want that one back. Max Llewellyn tumbling to the Bengals in pick No. 189 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. The Thomas pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, tight end and other spots still on the board.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.

In slot 10 they get a problem off the edge. More want than need.

Christen Miller at the Round 3 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They robbed the room for Kyle Louis here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The roster fit checks out.
Steal is underselling it; Max Llewellyn at the 189th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Eric Rivers in the 199th overall pick, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
They barely believed it either: Pat Coogan still on the board at pick No. 221. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
The board fumbled Le'Veon Moss all the way to pick 226, and they scooped it up. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
