The rest of the league will want that one back. Kevin Coleman Jr. tumbling to the Buccaneers in the Round 6 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
Reaching for Allen left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 15 they get a double-digit-sack hope. A clean fit for the roster.
A tidy little value on Caleb Banks in pick 46, a step better than break-even. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They read the board right and Dontay Corleone was the payoff at No. 77. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Kaytron Allen in the Round 4 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
