A solid, sensible weekend for the Falcons: B-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Aamil Wagner in pick No. 122, a good 49 spots before the room expected him.
The Caldwell steal is the beam this whole class leans on. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
Joshua Josephs at the Round 2 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A straight-up fair deal on Domonique Orange at Round 3, Pick 15, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Aamil Wagner at the 122nd overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jeff Caldwell in the 215th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Harrison Wallace III in pick 231, plain and simple. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
