The war room fell hard for Nate Boerkircher, and it showed at the 64th pick: 96 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.

So much rides on Keionte Scott that the real verdict is a season or two away.
