The Jalen Rivers selection is the head-turner. The Patriots reached 160 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Mullings falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
