Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jalen Sundell at slot 252 is 35 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On value alone, Taylor-Demerson makes the weekend a net positive.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a go-to option on the outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They paid sticker price for Patrick Paul in the 64th overall pick, and that is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They read the board right and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson was the payoff at pick No. 95. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
