The phones were a trap the Cowboys kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Castro at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
