The Vikings spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Rosemy-Jacksaint at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. The Vikings indulged a want in Hart while a need in safety stayed open.

The McCarthy reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
