Scouting Report: Strengths
- Reid is a work in progress with high-end physical traits. He’s extremely light on his feet for a 300-pounder, a natural knee bender who plays with balance and leverage.
- Reid is a work in progress with high-end physical traits. He’s extremely light on his feet for a 300-pounder, a natural knee bender who plays with balance and leverage.
- Does a nice job on the second level, moving upfield quickly and showing the flexibility and balance to land blocks in space.
- Quick feet to get inside of defensive tackles to wall off inside and reach linebackers at the second level.
- In pass protection, Reid flashes a strong initial punch and typically has good hand placement.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- A short-area blocker with limited range and doesn't consistently get to the second level. Will play undisciplined at times, especially in space. Lacks a finishing attitude.
- Often gets too high in his sets, sacrificing some of his power, and Reid doesn’t show great coordination between his upper and lower body when sliding back in pass protection.
- While he’s solid as an athlete, he’s more comfortable moving forward as a run blocker than setting in pass protection, as he too often relies solely on his initial punch to stand up pass rushers instead of moving his feet.
- Is a little too much of a waist bender, and he doesn’t play with ideal power and functional strength. Most concerning - he often gets caught dropping his head, a bad habit that will have to be corrected.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
