What Can We Expect From CJ Stroud In NFL

This is that part of the year when those true NFL fans are struggling with in the off-season. There are no games, there is no NFL content on a daily basis. Sure, there are many ways to kill time.

They can play games on casinos.com or watch the highlights of the previous season. But, there is a good thing in this off-season - the NFL draft. It may not be as popular as the one in the NBA, but many people watch it and they are trying to predict how those picks will pan out in the league.

Today, we are going to discuss the wonderfully talented young man called C.J. Stroud and his skills in college football. Also, we will try to predict how he will fare in the big leagues.

Let us get down to business.

C.J. Stroud College Stats

But, before we analyze what this man can offer on the football field, we will stroll down the good old memory lane and see how he fared in college football.

He is a rather promising passer and because of that, he managed to score 3,688 passing yards during his college career.

Also, he can be proud of 41 passing touchdowns. That is, without question, impressive for a college player. He recorded 108 rushing yards and respectable 246 points.

With 41 touchdowns and 108 all-purpose yards, he was one of the most valuable players in his college team.

Now, let us discuss the man he became.

What Makes C.J. Stroud A Good Pick

It is safe to say that NFL drafts are a lottery. Sure, some teams will get wonderfully talented players, but others may not be as fortunate. But, that is the way this part of the game works.

Many redeemed experts in the NFL world consider this young player to be one of the best pure pocket passers among the younger players. If you love that popular phrase, he is a generational talent. What makes him such a good pure pocket passer?

Well, his vision, mostly. He has such a good vision on the football field. When people look at him, they see a veteran in a body of a kid. This is how legends are made. But, let us not go that far. He has to prove himself in the NFL before we make such predictions.

One other thing that makes him such a good young player is that he is rather decisive. He simply owns every single move he makes. Sure, he will make mistakes during the game, but that does not make him question his skills. He is a general on the field of battle and his teammates love that. With experience, he will become one of the best passers in the league, without question.

His passes are accurate and it seems that he is trying really hard to make things easy for his buddies. Only the best players are able to do this.

Unlike many of his young peers, he plays remarkably well under pressure. When the game is tight, he will be the bravest one on the field and he will be the one who will decide the game. When you see a player like that, you simply have to respect him.

What Are The Aspects Of The Game That He Can Improve?

Sure, in this article, we mostly praised this young prospect, but that does not mean that he does not have room for improvement. The most important thing he needs to work on is his strength. Many people will say that is because he is young, but there are many boys his age that are stronger than him. He needs to work on his muscles and his stamina. That is the only way he will be able to compete in the NFL.

But, that is not the only aspect of the game he needs to improve. He needs better runs if he wants to go down in the rich and wonderful NFL history. Right now, he is rather shy when it comes to running the field and he is only counting on his wonderful passes. That may have worked in college football, but he will need to run the field more in the league.

What Are The Texans Expecting To Get With C.J. Stroud?

We previously said that this young man needs to improve his running game. But, that is not the aspect of the game the Texans are asking from C.J. Stroud. Well, not at the beginning of his career in the team. They are counting on his silky passing skills and his vision.

They want a player who will organize the team during the game and be a general. We can honestly say that they lacked that type of player in recent history. This is exactly why they drafted C.J. Stroud and why they are willing to invest in this young man.
