Nobody had Phil Jurkovec this high, and it is not close. The Eagles reached 48 spots to get him at No. 253.

The Thomas Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
