The Vikings spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

The Nix reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Green value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
