The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cowboys spent their marquee pick on Jalen Milroe, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

That Higgins pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They are betting Roberts proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
