The Anderson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Everything downstream of Carson Beck depends on Carson Beck, and the building knows it. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Hit on Carson Beck and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 8 they get their quarterback of the future. The biggest hole, addressed.
Aeneas Peebles at pick No. 40 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Armand Membou this early at the 104th pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
