The Cowboys looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took MJ Sherman at the 245th overall pick regardless, 46 picks early. Call it a C and check back in two years.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
