There is reaching, and then there is Mason Fairchild at slot 245. The Cowboys jumped the board by 45 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Abrams-Draine.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
