The Texans lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The Foster reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Stover pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and tight end.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bertrand pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
