When a board-topper like Edgerrin Cooper slides to pick No. 98, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Worthy proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 22 they get a lockdown presence outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Good price on T'Vondre Sweat in Round 2, Pick 18, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
