The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Sam Hartman, pick No. 203, roughly 24 picks past where he belonged. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. With wide receiver, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Reaching for Jenkins left real value on the table behind him. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
