The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Aaron Lewis, 42 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

They banked enough surplus on Wilson to cover a lot of smaller sins. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
