You could see the war room lean forward. Ollie Gordon II at No. 255 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
Nick Emmanwori slipping to slot 32 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Jalon Walker in pick 64 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Jihaad Campbell in the 68th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It fills a real need, too.
