The Dwight McGlothern pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 32 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Oladapo to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
