You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Eagles did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots went begging. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
