There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Texans started one anyway for Samuel Brown, 70 picks ahead of schedule. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

Getting Sampson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Mukuba pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
