The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 97 spots for Frank Gore Jr., and value like that does not grow back. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman still on the board.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
