Scouting Report: Strengths
- Tyree has the flexible ankles to turn the corner and get around the perimeter when the opportunity presents itself.
- He’s outstanding as a receiver, with good hands and the coordination to snatch away from his body and fluidly transition to a runner.
- He’s a natural pass catcher, at his best pulling in swing passes and heading upfield. He’s a natural in the screen game as well. His hands are good enough that Tyree can line up in the slot.
- Possesses agile feet with the patience, balance and vision to sidestep and elude defenders - nice job following his blocks and working well in tight areas. Physical at the point of attack and keeps his feet moving
- Tyree shows decent burst and straight-line speed to turn in big plays.
- Creative with good vision and patience, quick feet and smooth footwork to easily change direction and make sharp cuts to elude defenders in space. Very good lateral agility; difficult to square-up in tight areas with his smallish frame.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- He’s not physically imposing. Tyree is small-framed and won’t be able to carry much more weight.
- Tyree doesn’t have the ability as a run blocker or the violent run-after-catch ability.
- The lack of size also pops up in pass protection, where Tyree often struggles to stand up blitzers.
