Top 10 Quarterbacks to Watch Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft
The 2025 NFL Draft is nearly a year in the future, but it is never too early to speculate. Each 2025 NFL mock draft will look a bit different from the last, but the quarterback position will garner particularly close attention.
Sportsbooks already started offering odds for the draft and those interested in placing a bet can take advantage of the no deposit bonus codes in the USA. Let’s take a closer look at the 2025 NFL Draft prospects that could make some noise.
Carson Beck
Look at any 2025 NFL mock draft and Beck will be at the top of the list. He has impressive metrics, but his accuracy may be the biggest draw, making him the favorite to go first in any NFL mock draft 2025.
Shedeur Sanders
Sanders has a boatload of hype going into the 2025 NFL Draft. His decision-making is next level and a strong season from Colorado could put him in contention to land in the top spot in more than one 2025 NFL mock draft.
Quinn Ewers
Ewers may have the most potential of anyone. He has all the tools and his development at Texas is worth watching. He will need to carry the Texas offense in 2024 while keeping his turnover-worthy play rate low.
Jalen Milroe
Milroe makes big plays, finishing second in the nation with a 9.2% big-time throw rate. His internal clock needs tweaking, and he needs to find consistency in the intermediate game, but the potential is there.
Drew Allar
Allar was hurt by his receivers a year ago but still ranked highly in a number of categories. He has outstanding arm talent and takes care of the ball better than just about any of the signal-callers on this list.
Conner Weigman
Weigman was a house of fire in 2023 until a foot injury ended his season. He has good arm talent, but his mechanics may need work. If he can start hot again, watch him rise up the rankings.
Dillon Gabriel
Gabriel was a stud at Oklahoma and will star at Oregon. Though he is an outstanding college QB, he may not have the arm talent to make an impact at the next level. Probably a backup above all else.
Jaxson Dart
Was his successful 2023 more about his ability or being in Lane Kiffin’s offense? Dart is boom-or-bust in terms of productive plays versus turnovers but should be in contention for the Heisman.
Riley Leonard
Leonard, the former Duke QB, will face a new level of competition this year. He needs to do a lot of work on his accuracy, a major issue in his first two seasons as a collegiate starter.
Cameron Ward
Ward is fitting for Miami (FL.) in that he’s so inconsistent. He has the kind of arm talent to make every throw, but he needs to find consistency. An explosive 2024 could shoot him up the in the draft rankings.
The Road Ahead
Moving forward, each NFL mock draft 2025 will look different as the year progresses. A few of the top 2025 NFL Draft prospects will still be there at the end and change the fortunes of the teams that take them.
