The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Getting Singleton where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They are betting Riley proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
