This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Keon Coleman, the No. 36 name on the board, stolen at Round 3, Pick 16. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball. The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
