The Bengals let Rosemy-Jacksaint fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-.

The phones were a trap the Bengals kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Rosemy-Jacksaint at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
