Call it larceny. Lathan Ransom sat on the board until the 171st pick, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice.

Reaching for Sanders left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
