The Bears spent real capital to be 47 picks early on Nick Martin, and the board is going to hold them to it. The final tally is a middling C+.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

If Abdul Carter and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
